Tear Trough Augmentation

Tear trough augmentation is an aesthetic treatment completed here at the Wellness Space for patients with lower eyelid dark circles or dark hollows which we refer to as 'tear troughs'.

There are many complex anatomical structures that can give rise to worsening tear troughs​ and contrary to popular belief they are not solely linked to tiredness and fatigue. Soft tissue volume loss at mid face, weakening of the orbital septum and lower eyelid fat pockets ('eye bags') together can lead to a worsening tear trough and intern a tired appearance.
